Slow progress

Well it's been a bit of slow going.
Most of my time has been working out a bit of a colour palet to got through not only this unit but my army.

I may have to take a better photo later tonight.

On another note I had o try and buy some Bleached Bone. No such luck as that paint has been out of stock for over 10 years.
<sigh>

  1. Mate try Ushabti bone in the new GW range, it is supposed to be equivalent to bleached bone, although i haven't tried it yet.

  2. Vallejo model colour Iraqi sand or Dark Sand may work too. Nice to see some paint on some old minis. Keep it up.

  3. There's a pretty good compatibility chart over on dakkadakka I found when trying to replace some of the older citadel colors. It compares a number of different paint ranges, and is pretty accurate. I've still got a pot of bleached bone but it's getting really dry at this point, but I have a good substitute for the old Jade Green that was the basis of my ancient Battlefleet Gothic fleet. http://www.dakkadakka.com/wiki/en/Paint_Range_Compatibility_Chart

  4. I use Vallejo's Bone White as Bleached Bone. Or try Coat D'arms - they are actually the original Citadel paint range from the 80s.
